Raised in Ireland, absorbing art and novels about artists from a young age, I was never aware of any other path for myself besides becoming an artist. This led me to travel and meet many friends along the way, as well as requiring sacrifices of comforts at times. I have always been drawn to the line where reality and abstraction become indistinguishable, perhaps because travel informed my mind with many diverse realities and beautiful ways of viewing the world. This feeling is what I am expressing through my work.
